Student Seminar

✴ The Free Enterprise Institute is the primary sponsor of The Imaginative ConservativeThe Imaginative Conservative is an online journal for those who seek the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. We address culture, liberal learning, politics, political economy, literature, the arts and the American Republic in the tradition of Russell Kirk, T.S. Eliot, Edmund Burke, Wilhelm Roepke, Robert Nisbet, Richard Weaver, Christopher Dawson and other leaders of Imaginative Conservatism.

✴ The Free Enterprise Institute Seminars are small group, one-day or evening Socratic seminar discussions.  Participants read a specific text relating to freedom and responsibility.  Visiting scholars lead them in an orderly discussion where they engage each other in a rigorous consideration of the text at issue:  what is said, how it is said it, and what is its importance.  This forum provides participants with an environment where they are able to exchange their ideas at a graduate school level. These discussions are an opportunity for participants to develop an ongoing relationship with the Free Enterprise Institute.

✴ The Free Enterprise Institute Conferences have multiple lectures on a single day on a specific theme.  Participants hear lectures by professors who are top scholars in their fields:  economics, history, government, philosophy and literature.
